Pride 5K Fun Run/Walk for All Ages
We are excited to host the City of Alameda's 3rd Pride Event! The weekend's event will include a 5K Fun Run/Walk through the streets of Alameda. Fun and colorful outfits are encouraged! This event will not be timed, we are just out to have fun and support a great organization.
The fun will start and end at The Elks Lodge on Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a goodie bag. Bottled water and a protein box are provided, complements of Starbucks! This event will be Saturday October 5th fun filled day which includes, music, dancing and vendor booths along the streets & parks of Downtown Alameda.

Pride at the Parade
Join Alameda Pride at the Alameda 4th of July Parade! Come walk, bike or roll with us and show off your pride. We’ll have plenty of music, bubbles, Pride stuff to wear (bring your own too!) and fun stuff to hand out. We will have some room in truck beds for people with limited mobility.
To join, just show up with yourself and all of your friends on Thursday, July 4 at Lincoln Ave and Park Street by 9:00am. You can also walk down Lincoln from Park Street until you see lots of rainbows and there we’ll be!

Alameda 4th of July Parade
Through all the challenges that the LGBTQ+ community is currently facing in this nation, it is imperative now more than ever, that we stand in solidarity and march together, letting people know that we are here to fight for our rights.
Please join the newly formed non-profit, “Alameda Pride” in the 4th of July parade to show that we are here for each other and to gain support from our fellow Alamedans & allies.
The parade starts at Lincoln & Park and ends at Webster & Lincoln = 3 miles. We will line up at 9:15am in spot #57 on Lincoln Avenue between Willow & Walnut (closest landmark is Acapulco Restaurant).
Come loud & come proud in your best Pride colors or 4th of July colors or both. The more people the merrier!

Park Street Pride Strut
Show your support for Alameda Pride by taking a stroll, I mean "strut", down Park Street & the surrounding downtown businesses of Alameda. Merchants, Bars, & Restaurants have asked how they can be a part of this amazing inaugural event, so we told them, have pride-themed specials or mini events. Ask them if they have any Pride specials, which will in turn, be supporting the business as well as the Alameda Pride Foundation.
The "Strut" will start at the Club House Sports Bar on Park Street & San Jose Ave, continuing north on Park Street with a Block Party on Alameda Ave. Don't stop there, grab some food & continue all the way to Alameda Island Brewing Co. to show them love for their gracious Alameda Pride support and all the others that Park Street has to offer, especially our generous sponsors! We all need some post-pandemic support!
